STATEMENT
I work at the interface between basic research and art. My artistic work examines why we accept connections as true and how we use them to understand the present and influence the future. The background to my observations are analyzes from epistemology, philosophy of science, and the history of science and culture. I observe research developments as well as the intellectual systems on which they are based. I bring currently relevant questions about the future into the art space. I work in a dialogue between traditional artistic practices and the impact of digital technologies. This is done through hybrid artistic methods such as worldbuilding, training neural networks and producing your own hardware and software. My sculptures, installations, images and performances can be experienced in the exhibition space as a symbiosis of physical and virtual worlds.
